Each player receives 13 cards at the beginning of each game.
A minimum of 2 players are required to start the game. A maximum of 6 players can play at every table. For any game that involves more than 2 players, 2 decks of cards are used.
The player to make the first move is decided by a toss. A ‘wild’ joker is selected at random from the closed deck of cards and the dealer deals 13 cards to each player. Following this, the first card from the deck is placed face up (Open Deck), while the remaining cards are placed face down (Closed Deck). During his or her turn, a player can draw a card from either the Open Deck or the Closed Deck. In exchange, the player has to discard one card to the Open Deck. The first player to arrange the 13 cards into sets and sequences, including a pure sequence, wins the game.
A Sequence is made when a minimum of 3 cards of the same suit are arranged in sequential order. For example - A♠ 2♠ 3♠ 4♠
A Set is made when a minimum of three cards of the same rank are arranged together, regardless of suit. For example - 8♣ 8♥ 8♦ 8♠
A Joker can be used as a substitute for a missing card to create a set or a sequence. However, you need to have at least one pure sequence (a sequence in which there is no Joker) to declare the game.
An Ace can be used with either high cards or low cards to form a sequence. For example, you can form a sequence with King & Queen (A♠ K♠ Q♠) or with 2 and 3 (A♠ 2♠ 3♠). However, you cannot use an Ace to connect a low card and a high card together. For example - 2♠ A♠ K♠
The objective of the game is to arrange all cards into Sets & Sequences, with a minimum of 2 sequences, including a pure sequence.
If any player completes the objective of the game, he or she has to discard one card out of the hand cards to the Finish Slot to declare the game. If it is a valid hand, he or she will win with zero points and the points of the losing players will be calculated based on the value of their unmatched cards.
